On 15th August, independence day was celebrated with a flag hoisting ceremony in the school.
Visit to Bhide wada
Republic Day
Republic day celebration. Students from standard 3rd , 5th and 8th performed a unique parachute dance and the scout and guide students from std 5th gave the parade of honor during the flag hoisting ceremony.
Cooking Competition
Cooking competition was also organised for the students.
Hindi Rashtrabhasha Diwas
International Yoga Day
International Yoga Day was celebrated in the school on 21st June. The students performed suryanamaskar and basic yogasanas in the school assembly.
Origami workshop
In July, origami workshop was organised on the Bharat scout guide ground. They were guided by Mr Ashok Dharmadhikari and Minakshi ma’am of DES school to make paper flowers and bags out of news papers.
Solar Energy Workshop
A workshop about use of solar energy was organised where the students of std 8th prepared solar heater and street light from solar energy.
Rangoli competition
A Rangoli competition was arranged for the students. The topic for scouts was Save earth save water and for the guides was Save girl child.
Swachhata Abhiyaan & Sarvadharma Prarthana
The students also took part in Swachchata Abhiyaan followed by Sarva Dharma Prarthana.
Safe & Nutritional Food Seminar
International Science Day
On 28th February, international science day was celebrated in the school by conducting an exhibition of science experiments and models made by students. Different topics and themes were given to the students class wise, which are as follows – STD 5th and 6th – Water and air pressure, STD 7th and 8th – Disaster Management, STD 9th and 10th.
