Teacher’s Day Celebration
Soon it was time for teacher’s day celebration. The students of std 8th to 10th conducted the entire school for the day, including the assembly and sports.
Shravan Harsh
Shravan Harsh was the occasion to celebrate the different festivals that are celebrated in the Marathi month of shravan. Children decorated the classrooms with posters and drawings. They also decorated the black boards, drew rangolis in front of the classes. Competitions such as mehendi, drawing, songs/ story telling were organised class wise.
Bhondla Celebration
Next was the bhondla celebration. The students enjoyed the khirapat and singing the bhondla songs with their teachers. Different competitions we’re organised for the students as well.
Diwali Celebration
Diwali celebration was held before the Diwali break commenced. Children decorated the classrooms with festoons and ribbons, hand made lanterns, rangolis were drawn in front of the classes and the children enjoyed the celebration thoroughly.
Palkhi Celebration
Palkhi celebration. Students of all classes were dressed in traditional attire and prepared slogans and banners related to nature conservation to give the message of save nature save earth.
Guru Pournima Celebration
The next occasion was gurupournima celebration. The children celebrated this occasion in their respective classes. Competitions like speech, songs were conducted in the class which the students enjoyed and took part in enthusiastically.
Matru Poojan
Matru Puja was celebrated by 5th std students on 14th February.
Ganesh Festival
Ganesh festival was celebrated by the students during ganpati. They performed aarti of Lord Ganesh and recited poems, stories etc. Competitions like Ganesh idol making , drawing , Rangoli etc were conducted during the festival.
